If you just plan something that you can never attain and if you try to do it, then you will be completely failed and even quit the program. So, if you really want to control your weight, just start with a realistic plan. Then for many people, weight control means avoiding food. This is utter blunder. You control your weight to maintain your health. But, avoiding food will really have an opposite effect. If your body does not get the nutrition required at proper level, then you can become ill. So, what is actually required is following a proper diet. It should be nutritionally balanced, with reduced calorie. You can get the help of a doctor or dietician for choosing a perfect diet that meets all your needs.

Another important aspect in weight control is proper exercise. Proper exercise is a must for maintaining good health. You need to choose the exercise which is suitable for your current physical condition. There are many different exercise methods like walking, cycling, swimming, skipping and weight lifting and so on. The method that is effective for an individual could be dangerous for another person. Quitting your bad habits including smoking and drinking also has a major role in controlling your weight. Though it is somewhat difficult to practise, it normally shows very fast results.
You should never try short cut methods while controlling your weight like weight loss oils, capsules etc. It might have side effects which will become visible after a long time. So, always follow a systematic procedure to control your weight. You should never aim at weight control for a short span of time. Instead, you should develop and follow good habits that will keep you healthy throughout your life.
